Crabtree was hopelessly exposed by Hohaia on numerous occasions in the first half. His stats saying 2 missed tackles is very misleading - he was left standing and in no position to attempt a tackle on numerous occasions throughout the game.

Well said swf i am a giants fan but some on here reckon he is the best Prop on the planet,its not his defence that worrys me its his Metre making and aggresion that i want to see,if some of the other frontrowers at theclub had his build they would be the best props on the planet.

Too many people think eorl is god on this forum. He was very very poor last night. Larne is half the size of eorl and busts the line much more

I agree that Crabtree lacks aggression. And at the either end of the spectrum, Mason undid all his good work for me by giving away penalties that led to points conceded.

Personally I don't think some masons 'penalties' were penalties. Very harsh by the ref. didn't anyone else notice Wellens was offside for meli's try?

Mason will always give penaltys away its in is DNA its the aggression that he plays at he gets fired up and rips in people blameing him for loseing last night are in cloud cuckoo land him LP and JC where the Giants best forwards last night,if the rest of our super star forwards played with has much aggression we would not be in this mess, and the 2 penaltys he gave away were debatable anyway.

He (Crabtree) played far too many minutes last night. If you are short on forwards then fair enough but if not then he is being utilised terribly. He was targetted non-stop by Saints quick men through the middle and had nothing left in the tank when carrying the ball.

YHeah dont forget Crabtree is being asked to play 60-70 mins because we have too few props

true... we have been left in a right mess with the team..hope anderson can fix it up but wont be easy
