Seem to have gone backwards in the last 2 weeks last weeks was due to resting players IMO who didn't turn up tonight so was it worth it well the answer IMO is no !

Giants were very good especially first half and deserved the win. Wire a bit flat but that's the way it goes sometimes. Great that SL this year is so unpredictable - just what we want for a truly competitive comp.

We've always struggled without Briers - it's rather common knowledge.

As for Simpson, Hodgson is a better winger for you surely. Simpson is a clear weak link. You rarely gave him the ball and when you did he dropped it!

Wire were missing Briers who always kicks us to death in the corners and I'm sure the score would have been a lot closer had he played. Our pack was very good tho, even without Doof , Griff and Mase. What a way to start a week on holiday.

one phrase comes to mind reading some of the comments on this forum, kids and beer.Fair enough not all of your posters are like it but the ones that are, well cringeworthy doesn't half describe it. You out enthused us form the get go and were in our faces all night, you're becoming a bit of a bogey team for us now, and i think it's at the point where were struggling to beat you. However, the season is long, and you're not the team you think you are, as you showed in your poor game against wigan.

To try and compare evans and mcgilvary is pathetic, yes they played opposite to each other tonight but that is as far as the comparisons go, Mcgilvary is class and i really rate him, but hes twice the size of rhys and a lot more experienced, even in his young age. I always expected rhys to be given a hard time, and the fact some of you didn't is silly.

If Jerry is twice the size of Rhys, then Rhys must be only 2 foot 11", and as far as experience goes Jerry has played a dozen Super league games, WTF get over yourself

more than rhys... who is only 18, a child. and i meant in terms of muscle etc. not height, because obviously mcgilvary was never a centre in basketball, "jerry" would be small for a point guard.

And Jerry is what 20, played a few games at the back end of last season, now blossoming in a good Giants side. If as you say Rhys is only a child, then shame on Tony Smith, for letting him play out with the "big boys".

Jerry is having a good season, but so is rhys. im just saying that to take pride in one player running ragged over a kid is pathetic. MY OPINION. if it was the other way round, as has been the case with rhys dominating the more established older players in the league then it would be an achievement. being better than an 18 year old who is still learning his trade, not so much.

And as I said before Jerry is only 20, and if the "child", as you called him is having good season then why take a stance on what was a comparison between two young players in direct opposition to each other tonight.

and which cheap shot was that? the shoulder to the face? it was a perfectly normal tackle, mcgilvary's lip bust because of hitting his shoulder, it wouldnt bust so badly if he'd hit his arm now would it.

Jerrys lip wouldn't have bust if Morley didn't aim for his face. You cannot target the face, whichever part of the body is used. Arm, Shoulder, whatever - it's still illegal in the game.

how did he aim for the face, morley put his shoulder in like he usually does, and jerry went lower into the tackle and bang. Big accident, lot of fuss made about nothing. I know moz has a reputation, but it's not his style anymore, i am convinced it was an accident, and that's why morley only got a talking to. Imagine the other way round if o'donnell had done the same to evans or myler you would be saying the same thing.
