i have to tip my hat of to them even though im disappointed we lost and especially by 20 points which i didnt think did us justice at all.saints,on the night were cruelly clinical and deserved the win,the first half i thought was just about even,but the 2nd half they seemed to score every time they went near our line,some because of lax defending,some because they know just what to do,fair enough they took advantage of bentham's whistle on a few occasions but that was down to our patch of indiscipline, but even though i thought we played the better stuff saints have what it takes to win these big matches.no complaints from me it was just a step too far for us last night but boy am i proud of those boys in claret and gold!

They always do turn it on against us over there , i will be glad when we go to Widnes / The new stadium to have a clean slate and start a new era against them without the KR monkey on our backs.

You have to credit them, their experience of the big games and what is required coupled with our own inexperience told. The scoreline doesn't reflect the game but the right side won. A couple of uncharacteristic defensive lapses by us as well.

You are on the right path though. Youve beaten us in a semi final and also made a CC final, then you go and beat warrington in their own back yard, with a first half performance that would have blown any team out of the water. Last night you were right in it until the last 20.

You are getting the experience required, under your belt. You have the coach, getting the experience so all you need is a couple of improvements in the squad and you will be there or therabouts.
