Every half back has ripped us up so far, even Brambani and we managed to win that one. Halls not a 6. We have serious problems now.

In recent times our Coaching staff have flooded our ranks with forwards, all very important of course however, it is the halfbacks who will set the plays up and generally 'marshall' the team!
With Reynolds seemingly injured for a period of time and Mortimer too we are now lacking at halfback! I've never been convinced with Reynolds and Mortimer looks to pick up injuries at the wrong time!
Craig Hall played halfback for Toronto last season and top scored in the division. I like him at fullback though!

Saints are looking at getting Matty Smith some game time ? I'm not a fan of his although he would suffice for a period!

Smith isn't the quickest halfback, but he does possess the ability to make play, and kick the ball. Would Saints be willing to release him for a long period though - then leaving themselves exposed to the impact of injuries? The kind of role we want, can't be filled by a player who may suddenly be dragged back to his 'parent' club'.

I agree Alan, also chopping and changing position isn't an answer whilst the team is trying to find some form.
