When the club recently announced details of 2016 Season Tickets, the feature mentioned a downloadable application form. Can anyone please point me at it, on the club website?

Well, you're one up on me - I can't even find it! It's a trip to the club for me - if I can find that in the 'off season'!!

Sure I read on Leigh Centurions Twitter that market stall is shut next week.

I might be mistaken but I thought the club tweeted that the retail outlet in market would be closed from the 9th for a week. Beat me by 2 minutes Frank.

The application forms are only necessary if paying by standing order. Otherwise they can be ordered directly through the ticket office either in person or over the phone.

In true style I should point out this has been posted while drinking 1€ Amstel in Tenerife!

So whats the problem with getting tickets/season tickets online? Is it because third parties would be used to sell them? We live in a digital world now,is it not time we moved along with it?

There seems to have been a problem with on line ticketing for a few weeks now. This is the message on the LSV ticketing website, when you enter it:-

Please contact the ticket office to purchase tickets[/i

Hopefully it will be remedied soon for season tickets and then for match tickets next season. We could do with all possible options being available for ticket sales, especially for those who do not live in Leigh.

Must admit I assumed you were like me and wanted to go down the direct debit route. Thanks to those pointing out the market stall is shut this weekend, you've saved me a journey. Ticket office it is then before t'big shop

Pretty sure that website has been down well over 12 months and when it was up you still couldn't purchase tickets. This is were we seem to let ourselves down professionally.With 90% of people using smartphones,tablets the opportunity is there to have a club app and interact with fans directly.

Social media is fine for messages but often open to abuse and not everyone uses social media.That site should have been up and running with downloadable forms and all info available on it before we started flogging season tickets.

Very poor marketing for me,and needs to improve dramatically in that interactive area.

Well we did have a mailing list,were you added your email address and any info from the club was added to the mailing list,were you would receive an email with whatever they added. But even that stopped around 3 months ago.

No disrespect,but to see comments like market stalls closed for a week,and people making unnecessary journeys,turning up at LSV and ticket office is closed.

We do really need to sort it out.

I was told that all that data was lost. Not the email addresses but your addresses when I wanted to buy so tickets for the first middle 8s game. Because I wanted our normal seats. When I rang for them I was told that I would have to go in to show my st. Anyway why do we have to go through the LSV ticketing for our season tickets?

Did I read it right somewhere that the west stand will be all allocated seating from now on. If so how does that work if I get a season ticket for me and the grandson, then a couple of friends/family come to the odd game, surely the can't guarantee the seats at the side of us ??

I believe someone said,that you would have to give up your allocated seats. Then seated elsewhere together.

How does it work at every stadium with allocated seating? I would imagine chaos will be king and nobody has thought this through eg ''Hi Mr Ticket office'', says bloke at front of queue 10 mins before ko, ''I have seats W100/102 and my mates are with me today and we want to sit together, can you show me what seats are available whilst we select the ones we want'' of course once he departs seats W100/102 become available for the next customer who has spent 5 minutes waiting as kick off is delayed as a result.
We dont need reserved seating for general admission, the perk of the ST is that you can select and resrve where you want to watch the game from, the rest are fair game.

Think it's still going to be unreserved seats for match day tickets but you won't be able to buy an unreserved seat season ticket.

If the seats at the side of you aren't available then you can move your season tickets for that particular game so that you have all of your tickets seated together, and then return to your season ticket seats the following game, you just need to mention it when buying the extra tickets.

It will be reserved seating for all tickets, both season tickets and match tickets. This was done as an experiment for the Super 8's and worked successfully so will be continued for next season. Reserved seating also gives an extra 100+ seats to sell in the West Stand (North) section which had been selling out most weeks during the regular season when it was unreserved (10% of seats have to remain unsold when it's unreserved as per Green Guide regulations).

Fair do's with the reasoning behind it, can see it putting people off tbh. I ended up in west stand south a couple of time last season due to the sell out at the north end - can't say it fussed me tbh.
Out of interest, is the DW allocated seating ?
