Fantastic build up to this match on the official Rochdale website. Very biased but pretty funny.
Apparently they were denied victory by controversial decisions and 2 disallowed tries which were 'perfectly good' (no mention of the 4 disallowed tries for Leigh)
They had Leigh 'on the ropes' at 5 minutes to go.
Acton is a 'bully boy' and the fight was all his fault (presumably for attacking the Rochdale players fist with his nose?)
The worlds most blatant trip is now an 'apparent' trip.
Also our squad is apparently all full time

CTV shows the no try from Dale to be correct - how it was missed was frightening by Bloem and the near TJ, the trip was shocking and again the ref did not take them back, with some of the flops guaranteeing gold in the olympics
What do we have to do to get a ref who is even handed and allows fans to watch RL?

The opposition will always say the same so refs are probably even handed, as to the ref allowing you to watch a game of RL that is what you did. It is impossible to have an error free game from both players and referees. Referees are impartial, fans are not. |

We can't play without a ref, but they control how the game is allowed to flow - We can be entertained by a short 10m or a fast open game, but they must be consistent and even with my cherry tinted spex that was something he certainly wasn't |

Personally I thought we were lucky to get away with McNally's try from an inside ball that at the time looked more than a shade forward. I was waiting for it to be chalked off. Then again my sight just isn't what it used to be. |

That trip was cowardly and should be punished with a large ban. That sort of behaviour has no place on the rugby field. It could easily break a leg.
