That is excellent news that Leigh have finally given the Pies their marching orders, and it’s all down to people like myself being vehemently opposed to it otherwise, if it was left to the Plastic Wigginers on this MB, we would still have the partnership.

I would like to thank the custodians in charge of Leigh for ending this agreement and for building a squad good enough to compete for all trophies in the league next season. Leigh will take some beating and I am grateful that I will take over a strong Leigh club when I come off benefits and take over the reins. My first signing will be Sonny Bill when he finishes his stint in Union - The Union Arms that is. He’s normally out by Sunday lunch time. I have also been having talks with Chris Hill, usually when I’m waiting for the bus to take me to the job centre but he sounded very pleased with my future plans, especially the sponsorship deal I have lined up with Wobbly Bobs. So all being well I should be leading them into Super League in 2016. We should do well against Arsenal Ladies and the Doncaster Belles, especially in the showers.

I will be back, incognito though. I don't think anyone will recognise me in my genuine Centurions Helmet 18 months BC. You can tell its genuine due to the Philips screwheads, as opposed to Wiggin d**khead, which first appeared in 1895 in The George Hotel, Huddersfield. I may also be wearing my leather SPQR wristband. Also genuine as it is stamped Made In China on the reverse.

Pat , I must say I disagree with you , everyone is entitled to their opinion on the Centurions , and to if they attend or stay away , I would watch Leigh and have done wherever they play .

I must say I don't agree with Wizzy either but I think most of his posts are tongue in cheek , as some of mine are , I keep saying my Rubbish is just as good as everybody elses .We DO need all the Fans we can get coming through the Turnstiles , the more the Merrier , I keep banging on about our Poker Nights , we need more folk attending them also .

The BOM have done everything they can to supply us with a Team worth watching , I think we all know the Rumplestiltskins who delight in knocking the Club whatever happens and don't attend games , I don't know Wizzy , but I don't think he is one of them , lets get together and cheer the lads on in 2014 .Charlie knows .

Pat has made a valid point though' without regular attendees we would not have a club to support.

Over the years the clubs Directors have made decisions I was not happy with but I always say eventually things change for the better or worse so you have to stick with it if you care enough.

Frank, the club is a business correct? Any business will only succeed if it attracts enough customers ,you attract customers by providing something they are willing to pay for, it really is that simple, it on the whole isnt down to individual decisions made by the administration , very few if any customers are completely satisfied with everything any business provides, but get enough things right and generally the business will succeed and grow

Our job is to create a product that folk want to buy, either again or for the first time - Pat is correct in so far as without those (you and I ) who have stuck with the club and in many cases gone well beyond the call of duty in doing so I fear for where we would be now. My thanks are certainly with them
That is now history and cannot be changed, we must focus on the now and tomorrow - and to be the best we can be we need our loyal fans to remain loyal, we need our lapsed fans to return and we need all of you to shout from the rooftops what we are building and how proud you are to be a part of it, that will certainly motivate others to follow you to the LSV.
