The 2014 Super League fixtures include a TV game on most Thursday nights, this must affect the Premier TV/Championship arrangement.

Not long to wait to find out. Champ fixtures are out next Monday aren't they?

I think there may be more STs sold if the Thursday games disappear.

Shows the contempt SL and SKY have for the game in general, that said I don’t think it would be any great loss if they did away with the Thursday games for our league, often struggle to get to home games and have given up even considering the away ones, expect we’ll be playing Sunday 10pm for TV.

Local SL fans aren't happy with the Thursday games, some of the big derbies are on Thursdays; eg Saints v Warrington (twice) & Wigan v Warrington (twice).

I am sure clubs must have known about this change but held on to the info so as not to affect ST sales.

The info was well publicised, and in fairness to those involved they've got the Thursday games already chosen as far as the last round of the season. Must admit the whinging is entertaining me though considering some of the Thursday games we've had to put up with over the years (6pm kick offs, trips to Whitehaven and the like).

As far as our own TV goes, the precedent was set in the play offs to just show it at 3pm on a Sunday. It does mean we'll not be able to keep as much of an eye on other teams, but at least it will mean minimal disruption to fixtures and crowds.

How long will it take for Sky to have one match on all seven days in the week? The midweek games, irrespective of the playing level, are not family friendly; 8.00pm kick off before a school day is not very attractive for parents.

A week the end of May and Six weeks summer holiday, plenty of mid week games could be schedule then, not that they’d care anyway about kids and school, but nothing major will change this season as there will be a Football world cup to fill the TV with.

Well having just sent SKY to the recycle bin and moved to Virgin, I'll be watching PS on a thursday and then may watch the SL game a few days later courtesy of Virgin on demand.

NO WAY will premier clash with SDL next season......if you believe that, you need SERIOUS help!!

Well i will be delighted if and when we ditch thurs as our tv game. Seriously find me a fan who likes and wants thurs night rl, good ridance to them. No matter what day premier go with, it has to be better than thurs. I also see sheffield are moving back to a sunday as their match day, really what planet are they on, it will never catch on.

Well seems to me that if Premier Sports continue to broadcast Championship games it will be Saturday about 7pm.

Far from being CRAZY CRAZY...I was merely pointing out that if there was a clash of Championship or SL on Thursday night, were my viewing would.

No evening KO time is going to attact away fans. That's one of the reasons my interest has waned over the last few seasons. I can't make evening KOs due to work. Even if you get a good home crowd, it just isn't the same atmosphere with no away fans. Hopefully we will drop the daft idea of playing Saturday evenings. I really can't see many away fans coming to those games.
