I would like to thank the squad for in my opinion giving their all in most games this season and for giving me a great day out at Halifax culminating in another trophy to add to our proud history.

I honestly think we struggle in the play offs because they are 1 or 2 games too far for lets be honest squads that have been paper thin and players going out on the field anything but 100% fit.

I was dissapointed like most on Sunday but I saw no evidence of any players shirking or not 100% commited to the cause.

Thee are only 2 things to win in our league and we have hold of one and with what I hear we will have a stronger team next year and I a looking forward to it already.

Anyway thanks lads and enjoy a feww weeks off you deserve it.

It was,nt the final win Keith in my opinion it was when we stopped using the Duals from Wigan that the squad began to struggle in games we had to play lads who where ,nt 100% fit and bring in some of the younger players who in my opinion are not ready yet ,when we beat Fev in the cup we had Scott Taylor playing who was outstanding in that game same in a few of the other games like Halifax when Thornley turned out for us I know we managed to win the cup with only Spenny playing but as the season went to the wire we struggled with injured player playing

Atmosphere at Fax for the NRC Final was fantastic and it is a Championship Event which should stay in the North of England imo.

It would be a good idea if the gate was shared 4 ways.

No we should keep the NR it as it is in my opinion.

I've come round now from sunday and I totaly agree with the original poster. I have clapped and applauded the boys a hell of a lot this year and they have been fantastic.

Anyway to get back to the topic in hand, I think the squad have shed blood sweat and tears this season and there have definitely been more highs than lows. Which of us will ever forget the final? I know I won't.

I was bitterly disappointed with the way we played and lost the last few games, especially the Batley game; but I still think that most of us will remember 2013 fondly, so I thank each and every player, the coach and all the backroom staff of 2013 - thanks lads.
