I will come out and say it straight,the players have been informed that it is highly unlikely that they will be getting paid at the end of the month,they have been given no guarantee that they will be paid next month either.

The players are shocked and upset as you can imagine,not just about the wages,but the way they have been told and the handling of the situation.

The players are playing for the shirt and the fans today,they need you more than ever before.

I am not posting this to tell tales,cause trouble,the PLAYERS want the fans to know what is happening,the fans have to back the lads,if the fans give up on them,well i dread to think about the next game.

Can I suggest that instead of buying a pint at the ground you tip into a bucket and we give it directly to the players, can LISA help here?

If admin is the only way then that's what must happen to ensure we can get the fans/business partnership that will guarantee transparency and create a real community club that can prosper.

This is very shocking news , what happened to the Cash raised from the Wigan game , plus the cash given to the club , a few weeks ago by LISA ?How come its always our club struggling to pay players ?

Why cannot they pay them even if only partially from today gate?

I am sick of repeating it but cash generation is all that matters in providing the platform for any business to run - and we need £100k pa more than we get.

For me the players wages are THE most important , no players we have nothing , whats happening ?Someone must know ?

Remember LISA was given a share for every £20k, and a board position so surely they know? (Dick this is not a dig at you/LISA)

Hopkins has just signed a new 3 year deal. How can the club offer Hopkins a new deal when they have no money?

Mo if the situation is as BAD as it seems then we need to act immeadiatly , we cannot afford to let the Players down , im willing to do anything i can , im sure most on here will feel the same , but what can be done ?

The main thing mate is to spread the word and give the team all the support you can,it really is up to the fans to keep the players going.

Those who follow twitter,read the players tweets,they are not throwing the towel in,but they are urging the fans to come and support them.

It one game at a time,the players and the fans have to be united as one.

Personally if they wont walk and take their debts with them its Administration and do it properly.

The £15K given so easily by LISA with no questions asked to Trevor Barton less than 2 months ago would now come in very handy to pay the players!

I think Trevor Barton has a lot of explaing to do, he said the money would last at least 2 months, plus the club has had additional revenues since then such as the wigan game etc.

Sorry its not enough its time to get real, completely restructure like any sensible business would do in this postion. Take it back to the bare minimum and rebuild with a proper thought out strategic plan for the next 3-5 years if Leigh RLFC has any chance of a future never mind surviving!

Like Alexs Dad has said, 15k doesnt touch the sides especially if it was also covering a deficit of moneys already spent. If this is true regarding the non payment of players, then surely this needs to be the straw that breaks the camels back with regards to the future of the club. Some very important decisions need to be taken with regards to the short and long term future of the club. Its times like this when everybody needs to be pulling in the same direction and working together to secure the future of this great club!

I'll be getting behind the lads but the way this club is run is a joke. This will inevitably lead to fans including myself pishing money down the drain trying to pull our club out of the mire again

I'd recommend calm and patience (I know it's easier said than done) while the correct channels and procedures are now followed.

I've spoken to the Rob Parker via text today and the lads are focused and want to go out and play for us the fans and the shirt we need to sing louder than ever and show them how much we care.
