Over the last two year s received large donations from a member that wants to be Anonymous. Yesterday he sent us another £2000. I think it's wonderful and the board agree with me and we would like to thank the gentleman and meet him. Even now times are still hard and the club still need lots of help with the finances . This mean s we ve another £2000 they can have this season. I hope everyone like me thinks this person deserves a special mention.

I honestly think this transgresses across a lot of the game, even in the times of licencing, no P&R, crippling debt, greed, etc etc.

The man/woman is a fine person for doing what he/she has. I could relate to them wanting to be unkown. If I had a bit of extra dosh that I wanted to give to the club I love without ruffling the famillies feathers then why not.
I remember the doco about lottery winners and it showed some regulars in a pub in Leigh. Well some of them had the hump with him because his son was walking around in old trainers. One was talking of wanting to thump him.
They'll do for me these people if they want to give money to our club and keep quiet.
