Did anyone else notice when the ref gave a kick off out on the full that it bounced in field first??

the referee was dire in the second half (didnt get to see first at work)forward passes ,they shouldve had another try when maden dropped the ball.but we know he has always been useless anyway

All of us Leythers behind the post saw it clearly bounce in the touch in goal before going dead so it was a drop out fron under Fev's posts rather than the penalty he gave Fev from the half way line.

Having said that he did make up for it later by getting in Fev's line and saving us conceding another try.

1 bad decision against you, but he more than made up for it, try saving interception, frankly baffling decisions with regards to knock ons, players being "tackled" in the air. Thought he was by far Leigh's best player in the second half.

To be fair to the ref, that kick off decision was the touch judge. Also to be fair to the ref, he was the most likely man on the pitch who seemed capable of keeping Fev's score down!

To be fair to the ref, the game was over by the time he starting penalising Fev, to be fair to the ref he had the VR to go to when Fev scored the first try (obstruction?) and the kick off deemed dead.
To be fair to the ref, Fev had a pack all competing in the 100m at this years Olympics they were up that quick - surely we can't have been that slow.
To be fair to the ref, we were garbage and folk will not pay to watch that on a Friday night with a big game live on Sky.

I fear for our future - maybe I am a pessimist where LRLFC are concerned though - the Directors have stated they won't put money in and that we need 2000 gates, can't see the latter happening so there will be a big gap - unless we don't win a game thus saving us a fortune

I totally agree, and its not the losing that concerns me but the manner and tactics.
As the owd saying goes ' If you always do as you always did, you will always get what you always got' - these last 2 games have 2009 revisited all over them

For me this didnt go out on the full, I thought that last night and having watched it back tonight I am sure it was a foot inside the line. Not Ronnie's fault, linesman at fault, shame the same can't be said about a lot of other decisions for both sides.

I still think you'll come in the top 5, which I think is fantastic from where you were 4 months ago.

It was a very BAD mistake , but not Laughtons fault ,and it didnt do us any harm , we were totally outplayed , Ronnie kept the score down , now its up to PR to sort it out , he must forget about trying to be popular with players , as i feel he has some decisions to make team choice wise , which may not go down well with the players , but they must be made .
