- still a wins a win and i feel there was quite a bit kept in reserve for mondays match - we are still unbeaten

Thought barrow were outstanding today that wasn't the same team that played fev superb defence and gud in attack, just can't see how leigh are going to beat fev they looked shattered

Not the best performance but its the signs of a good team to be able to play bad and still win and were still unbeaten

think we played just enough to win the game today.hope hilly is ok for monday,had a big ice pack on his knee after taking a knock.we upped the speed the ball for 10 mins in the second half and that got the 2 tries that ended up winning us the match.
ref pulled them up five times for head high shots surely someone shouldve been binned.
weird playin at 12 oclock but a win is a win.lookin forward to fev now on monday bring it on.

Barrow played very well but we let some very soft tries in. Enjoyed the second half in particular, by the christ it was hot as well lol

Our last try was awesome!! Best try i've seen leigh score in a long long time.

Mr Hewer kept Barrow in the game and should be hauled infront of the RFL for that performance. How can you give 5 penalties for high tackles without calling for the captain and telling him the next goes in the bin, and that was the ones he pulled up. There must have been another six blatant ones he let go. They were trying to pull TGs head off right in front of him and the buffoon running the line.He stopped us taking a tap when the players were clearly behind the 20mtr line. I know Andy Thornley had just crossed it but he was in Hewers peripheral vision. If you can't see that you shouldn't be reffing.
Our discipline at getting back for the play the ball is excellent, but Barrow were infront of him all the time and at some of the taps they had not got 5mtrs. Then he pulls us for not being square.

Poor kickin game did,nt help us, and with Govin missing the ball was,nt moving to the backline fast enough the players dug deep and came up with a win against a very good Barrow side the last try from Donlan was pure magic, if Leigh up the anti by 50% they will beat Fev on monday............

Do you think MG was rested with monday in mind? Try of the year for me that Demon.

Fair play to Barrow today though, good support and their players wouldn't give up. Good crowd today too, over 2500. Leigh missed Govin but Donlan's second was the best try i've seen for years.

I thought Basils Post-Match sum up was fair ,saying boths sides had about a 90%completion rate ,Nigel Wright was very magnanimous in defeat



said it was probably Barrows best performance , i thought we missed Gov, but we will have to improve again to beat Fev ,still a wins a win and it must have been very hot out there ,CMON YOU LEYTHERS

Totally agree about the ref,not once did he threaten to put someone in the bin and yes he gave 5 pens for the head shots but missed 2 that we all saw in west stand ,I thought that was the worst i've seen him ref

Barrow played well today and showed they have good players and looked a lot fitter than when we played them at their place.

Unrecognisable from when they "played" at Fev.

Our last try was so amazing I cannot wait for Fred to post his blip tv thing. Seven minutes left and they come up with that.
