Sorry I haven't posted earlier but had problems logging on.

Scarborough Centurions v York Region Reds finished 26 - 26

A great performance by the Scarborough team, considering we had no subs and lost 2 with injuries, one with a suspected broken wrist in the first play of the game.
Apart from an Aussie and me, the team is mostly very good Canadian union players who want to give league a go, over half of the players on both teams made their league debut.

Looking forward to the next game this Sunday (17th) against Toronto City Saints.
The pictures from this game should be great as the Saints team play in the St Helens green away kit from a couple of years ago.

By the way I have pictures but don't know how to post them. Any advice would be appreciated.

Great stuff, it looks like they are playing in the middle of a building site.

Yeah looks that way. It was a massive sports complex with buidling work going on next to our pitch.

do they only play 11-a-side or are there some cut off the team photo?

We started with 13 but lost two with injuries (one broken arm, one broken finger) so ended the game with two men down.

The team picture was taken afer the game whilst two of the lads where at the hospital.

So, do we have a feeder team now?

I think "Torontonians" is about right actually, although the rest of the country might use a less flattering term!
