There seems to be a lot of calls to get more of the towns public and lost fans back to the LSV and watching the team we have got and are lucky to have at the moment. But maybe if every one of us current, loyal and passionate fans did their own little bit the town might start to notice?

Even the little things like Ste Ody saying he wants to put up a fixture list in the pub he works in, hundreds of people will see that per week.
Locals who know landlords, get in their ears and get fixture lists and posters in the pubs, matches on the TV on a Thursday night.
We all commit to getting merchendise that people see such as car stickers, i'm always on the road and I have two in the back of my car.
Shop owners getting posters up in windows.
Any little thing we can come up with, however insignificant it is.
I've just realised that my barber hasn't got a Leigh fixture list or any kind of literature, so Luke will be getting some at Kaos because I know he won't mind-free advertising.

Sounds good to me Jonny. I'm sure Gordon Street Chippy and possibly Heaton's shop on Kirkhall Lane will put up a fixture list if I could get hold of one for them.

After the Fev game there were a load of team photos on the way out for free, could do with some of them too. Any idea where we can get a free fixture list from?

I got a load of the small ones form the club, dont know if they did any bigger version ring up and ask, or maybe this could be "blown up" and used.

Sorry it wasn't a fixture list in the Subby it was the poster advertising the next game. Which to be honest is probably better than a fixture list as it's changed regularly, and may attract more to look at it.

I think would be part of a 'greater plan' mentioned on a thread last week about the Leigh Updates website.

They were also selling Leigh Centurions raffle tickets in the Subby at the weekend - so someone somewhere is obviously out there pushing the club to those who will co-operate!

I know the flag lads wont really apreciate this idea, but, I noticed when I was at the Goose on Sunday morning for pre match drinks, I walked to the bookies opposite George and Dragon, and noticed pretty much every passenger and child in cars driving past me were staring at my Leigh shirt, they probably thought nothing of it 5 seconds after when theyd drove past. I think if we had some flags on the fence at the Goose (weather permitting obviously) that they would drum up a bit of interest, i know its only 11am - 2pm but there must be quite a few cars drive ast in those three hours, I think if people see that other peole are going and making an effort, that they might do aswell.

Yeah those fences, I know a few of the girls that work behind the till and will ask them if we can ermmm 'adjust' there signs for a coule of hours. It'd be a bit like turning every home game into an away game atmosphere from 11am onwards. Might even pick up a few peole that are out for a casual 11am

how about asking THE CENTURIONS manager to change the Leigh Lions display (as they no longer exist) to a Centurions one, mind that would mean someone would have to change the 'away' team every fortnight any volunteer?

Does anyone know the manager? Surely we could all do it between us, i'd do it if I was on lates as i'd drive past dropping my daughter off at nursery.

Had a thought on the way home that it'd be great if pubs and even houses on the main road had Leigh flags hanging out of their windows like when the World Cup is on.
