It is reported on the National Conference Forum that Leigh East's game at Myton has been called off due to the loss of Keiron Johnson , son of Phil.

Heard about the tragedy this morning from my son, my thoughts are with the family.

Deepest condolences from all the Keegan family,
Kieran played with my son at Leigh East and i always joked about how all the lads on the team where "my boys"
Well today i really feel like i lost one.
A truly nice lad who will be missed by a lot of people.

Absolutely shocked by this news.

We knew Kieron through his dad and brother Connor who is a classmate of our lad at St.Marys.

Always had a chat with him and was always a pleasure to communicate with.

Really nice genuine lad who I am sure will be greatly missed.

Yes I was stunned by this news this morning, there wasn't a nicer lad who always had time for everyone, kind and caring .
He played in the team, with my son, which beat the Miners a couple of year back in the National Youth Cup final.
My thoughts go out to all his family and to the Leigh East Club who have been a big part of my life over the years, Keiran will be sadly missed by all who knew him, the place won't be the same without his lovely smile. RIP.

I lived next door to Phil a few years ago, shocked to hear this sad news.

Keiron was a great kid he will be saddly missed by ALL the rugby fraternity/family of Leigh as well as by his freinds and relatives.
