as the final hours of 2010 slip away it is most appropriate that I am engaged on my final post ever on these pages, quite frankly I am getting to old to be subjected to constant, aggressive.intimidating and bullying threats of physical violence aimed at myself by a certain poster on here, his threats like for instance "I'll mete out some special treatment to you at the next home match are a little disturbing, and his childish infantile constant use of my surname as he hurls his insults is reminiscent of the worst type of classic playground bully,as I am now approaching 70 and with a couple of heart attacks and a by-pass under the belt it worries me slightly, as it happens I was relating this story to two very very good friends of mine two brothers-in-law who were former stewards at Hilton park and they said to me dont worry about yon mon we'll come down and knock him out for you,but I of course wouldn't stoop so low, one of my friends also asked how it was that the mods on this site haven't put a stop to his thuggish behaviour,but that's one I cant answer,it hasn't been a good 2010 for our stewards really has it, we had the constant complaints from our Yorkshire friends that our stewards were cocking a deaf un to racial chanting and then the letter in the Journal from that poor Lady who found herself and her Daughter verbally and publically abused by a steward and then promised never to attend again how sad is that,and now it appears that they have scored another success on these pages with another victory for Thuggery Peawapp has spoken his last

Very sad that thuggery has to win at all. It should not happen. I think a statement from the mods as to why no action has been taken. I assume you have reported the personal threats/abuse to the mods. Hope you change your mind and all the best for 2011.

I don't often reply to your posts but I do read them, and find them usually entertaining. You spend all this time building up this Mr grumpy image and now you are going to flitter it all away over 1 person who should know better and maybe grow up a bit

a while back he and another had a little tiff and both where warned as both where out of order.
As far as i was concerned the matter was dealt with. I have had no reports of bullying or threatening behaviour since from either party.
I dont think any of the other mods have either as nothing has shown up on the mods board.

For the record, peawap insisted i had got his name wrong, and i offered too see him, so i could take his grievences up with my superiors, hence he took this as a threat.

The only one issuing any threats of violence are from John himself with his flouncing post, which i shall be complaining and reporting it too the mods.

I have never once threatened you, i just suggested giving you some extra attention from my fellow stewards, so you felt safer, there was no threat in there, find me that post and show everyone exactly what was said, as for the brothers in law, give me names, and i will see them also, and set them straight and tell them what a liar and stirer you are.

I've read and re-read his post and can't see any evidence of "threats of violence"?

FWIW, the AUP clearly states that "Where a user wishes to keep their identity private this should be respected" - you don't seem to have done that?

Also Dave, I don't think mentioning NVQ's and all that is really to be taken that seriously from outsider. I'm sure it covers every eventuality including everything from nuclear attack to someone that stands up during the game. But to us looking inwards you stand around, and mentioning NVQ to do that just adds comedy ammunition.

Well i think why we are nearly into the new year you should both make your peace with each other, and lets all get on with supporting the lads for the new season, anyway hope you change your mind peawapp, all the best to both of you for the new year.

All i do is defend my fellow colleagues, from Peawaps constant barrage of this and that's.
I am happy to forget everything, and draw a line under it, and certainly do not want nor wish peawap to stop coming on here, as i do like reading his posts.
Instead of moaning and bitching about the stewards, he could post constructively about his grievances, offering solutions and ideas as too how the service can be improved, instead of hurling non-constructive comments.

For what its worth, i always took this as a bit of banter between me and Peawap, and never thought nothing of it, especially when i heard he was at the ticket office giggling about how it was fun to wind a certain person up, so for that part, i got it wrong thinking it was a case of he could take it as well as give it, obviously not.

I was offering him specialist treatment, and told the Moderater on here what was meant by it, which he passed on to Peawap, obviously he has forgotten this, and totally forgotten what i said, by making up something on the lines of what he thought was said.
