I did the walk and am not bothered in the slightest but some people (me included) were probably expenting an outside signing. As above though as long as the money was used to sign a player i'm not bothered, was simply asking the question!

I was told the only "big" signing already had a sponser and the coach thought that Anthony would be an excellant choice, he was only on an reserve contract, so yes it is a new signing.
Also with the figure of £6100 you can hardly expect us to sign Lockyar

You can butter it up however you want and use your stupid, childish smilies, but IN MY OPINION someone already at the club is not a new signing and if id known you were going to use the money in this way I would not have sponsored a walker, just to make sure you understand in plain english... this post is just my opinion nobody elses.

I doubt the majority of walkers/donors expected that this would be how the money would be spent. It makes logical sense perhaps to use the money to sign him up - but cannot help thinking its a bit anticlimactic (no offence to the lad)
