I've just been to the doctors with my son where I saw Tim Hartley there. He was wearing his full Widnes training gear top to bottom WTF he's signed for leigh that isn't a good representation of our club I'm shocked to say the least

Perhaps no one has bothered to tell him yet that he has signed for us!!!

Quite common for players to train in their old club's gear etc, isn't it?

I think he was there for his son. I was going to say something to him but my Mrs stopped me so I just stared at him instead & drew evils !

I guess Leighs training gear hasn't arrived. He probably did a Bobbie Goulding and nicked as much gear as he could from the smellies.

But you’re right we should all be promoting the club at every opportunity, and our own players walking around town in other teams colours isn’t setting a good example.

Having said that as posted by whereyeball I to would imagine he’s probably not been issued with any Leigh stuff yet.

He played for the year below me at Miners as kids so I know he's alright but that doesn't make it right him wearing Widnes gear from head to toe regardless of if Leigh's gear has been made or not he's a Leyther now & he shouldn't be representing other clubs especially the smellies

Your making something out of nothing. He plays for Leigh and as long as he gives 100% for us then I don't care if he walks around naked with a Wigan tattoo on his ar$e!

I remember when we first signed Dean Gaskell and saw him inside stadium wearing a Leigh shirt... same for Jules O'Neil sat about Widnes as well... most get a shirt as a pay off lol!

Kevin Penny & Ste Pickersgill still used Wi^e kit bags last season, when (after few beers) questioned it said club wouldn't give them a Widnes one!

Anyway I'm not built to threaten anyone, was simply trying to point out how childish you sounded, in my opinion of course. Come on, giving someone (a stranger effectively) the evils for wearing an outfit you don't like is a bit silly (unless they are W£$%n logos of course)
