I must state that the meet Ian Millward night is not a LISA meeting.
It was agreed when, it was discussed at the last meeting ,that it was always going to be an open meet ,Ian Millward night and would not be exclusive to LISA members. This was agreed and has always been the case.
The club are having many complaints about LIsa members not being able to attend because theres no tickets left and they are under the impression that it is a LISA Meeting.
LISA will be having an AGM meeting in January and I will invite Ian along and our member will be able to question him then. I weill post the dates as soon as theyve been arranged.

If there is so much interest why not move it to a bigger venue - last thing we want is to upset fans and maybe lose LISA members.

i don't live in Leigh, but where is there a bigger venue, is miners upstairs bigger than what we have at the LSV, i do agree it would be good if everybody who wants to attend can.

people have had plenty warning that they needed to get tickets and even before the tickets where printed they could ring the office and put their names down.
To change the venue now would probably cost the club money for a start.

I was the one who gave the impression it was a LISA meeting not the committee. I aplogise to any LISA member inconvenienced by my error.

I tghink they didnt expect it to sell out so quickly, but anyone who did miss out will be able to come to the next one, that will be a LISA meeting, however to ensure they get in that meeting would have to be LISA member s only.

If size of venue, and potential cancellation charges, are an issue, would adding a second night be an option?

I know it'd double the time Millward has to spend with fans but, let's be honest, there's nowt else to do round there?!

Lisa will be asking Mr Millward to their next mjeeting so plenty of opportunity there.

Why wouldnt he, he always attended the meetings last time he was in charge .

But that was because we always took the P out of him and he looked forward to Wolrab's questions
