First met Mick around 2002 when he was playing at swinton with Lee Hansen , Lee brought him up to Leigh after a match one sunday

I've never been a huge fan of his. But give the lad his due, he consistently scores 300+ points per season at NL level, so he has to have something. Also, we have been lacking a centre, (notwithstanding the odd cameo appearance from TKL

Ironic really considering most fans at this level really rate Nanyn, but Leigh fans have always slated him. Now he's a Leigh player, the same fans will be clapping him out onto the pitch and cheering his tries.

Tell me about it you gotta love the leythers, on a serious note Mick is a great weapon to have at this level and now you may start to appreciate him.

Like I've said, he has to have something to pile on as many points as he has, at this level. As for him running in the tries for us - well, there's the small matter of finding a stand off to get the ball to him!

Any news on Joey Williams yet. Its gone very quiet. He kicked 5 goals and a drop goal on his last outing for Lavington.

Bit of a penny pincher IMO, showed total lack of ambition when he went to Oldham, And no one expected him to do well at Quins (and didnt play in a SL game) But it can't be argued that he is a points machine in the National Leagues.

Never been a big fan of his, though that's undoubtedly been clouded by a certain previous club of his. Grudgingly, his record can't be argued with and I'm more than prepared to give him a chance to prove himself - all the best lad.

I think part of the reason we all gave him stick was BECAUSE he was good against us. Plus he's an easy target bein a bit on the chunky side

Always said you'd be a Leigh player one day Mick, people cant argue with his record scoring antics at most of the clubs he's been with, pity he won't get the kicking record here though, thats Mortys domain

I remember doing it circa 2004 and him and Neil Turley had scored similar number of tries.

Nanyn's record for his clubs has been excellent, bar not making a single appearance in the first team for Harlequins.
