Your fans were brilliant tonight, sang all the way through the game. Did your club proud that's for sure.

I must admit the song they sung about Wakefield you only have one stand made me chuckle. We were 42-0 down at that point.

And we had to walk the last mile or so after our coach broke down

felt sorry for the young Wakefield 'fat lad' he got a lot of stick, but took it well.
After our Sam Reay made a 30 yard break in the 1st minute, it was downhill after that, Bet Wakey thought they were playing a 'struggling' NL2 side.
Enjoyed 'listening' to the banter, some 'witty' banter, although afew got carried away, and were told to leave near the end, by the stewards.

Well last night outside Belle Vue before the game a local seeing my shirt came over and gave me a free stand ticket for the game.

Same thing has happened to me at Leeds and Bradford .

Course I looked round last night for a down at heel Leyther and gave it to him.



Only posting to point out my gratitude to the people concerned and because the down at heel Leyther doesn,t have a computer.

Spoke to a group of young lads after the game. Said they had brought a shirt over in memory of Leon Walker and expressed their sadness. Congratulated us on our win, which not many SL fans from other clubs do. Will watch your games with interest over the rest of the season. Good luck and keep on singing!

Yep, good banter last night and no trouble at all......thats what the sport is about.
Well done to all at Wakefield, your guys were far to strong for us and hope you make the play offs this season TBH. Jon Kear is a credit to the sport by showing that you can assemble a side capable of competing in SL on a smaller budget than most do. He has took lads from the national leagues and put faith in them and proved to everyone that there is players in the lower leagues who are good enough....wish some of the so called top clubs would do this instead of signing to many overseas players.

Just to say a big well done again to all at Wakefield.

it looks like a good relationship has developed between our fans and wakey fans lets hope it continues i will watch for wakeys scores from now on hoping they win

N Kelly watched the academy game v Bradford at BV yesterday and said he'd got over last nights game, he clearly had not but he did try to put a brave face on it.

Have a lot of time for the Kelly family and i think that can be said for most Wakey fans, top bloke IMO.

Best game Ive seen them play, was when they beat Wigan in 2006, when us Leythers where in York for the Weekend . We come along and cheered you to victory.
