At the end of the day he had a year left on a hefty contract and Halifax didnt want to let him go for nothing hence it dragging on a bit but Rowley was very keen to get him. I think Fax will get the better deal but if Leigh can get him performing on his day he can be a very good player, Ive seen him have about 4 of those good days since he joined Fax though.

So what your saying is Rowley wanted him that much he thought he'd throw riddy in just to get him, can't see it to be honest, I hope not anyway.

1 out of 3 right so far on this thread. Will become 2 out of 3 when Sams loan at Fev comes to an end and then the other...........lets wait and see. I think you will see nowhere have I said we are signing Ridyard, I did say I would love to see him in a Fax shirt as would our coach. All I know is Sam was going on loan to Fev and has signed for Leigh for the 2 years after that and Fax have been talking to at least a couple of Leigh players one whom I believe is under contract for Leigh for next season.

Its the silly season but players out of contract will be well in to negotiations with other teams but Barlow was under contract for next season and In that regard I expect Leigh to give Fax something in return be that money or a player and I doubt money is an option.

I agree with you about Leigh giving you a player in return

but who ?I have a list of about 6 players surplus to us for next season , its only my opinion of course .
