I knew this would happen , but quite simply it is down to the club where they allocate the money , LISA say here's 6 grand , use it to help sign a player , club says thanks we'll sign player ' X ' with it

I don't understand what it matters? If you support leigh and we sign players who care who pays for who?

Perhaps the club should announce that Littlers contract has now been paid for by LISA just to keep some happy and Ant Nics has been paid from elsewhere

If LISA are helping out to the tune of £6100 towards Anthony Nicholson, this surely frees up £6100 to be used how the club wants towards someone else. Its all down to words and how you take them. I think there has been a little bit of an over reaction to this.

This is what happened, Stephen Hall and I was down at the LSV to have our photostaken by the reporter, with Mr Millward and Allan Rowley.
Whilst we was there it was mentioned about the Lisa walk money and who we would be using the money on, I asked Ian this and he said that the signings that we had coming where covered by another sponser and there wasnt any "big" signings available to us.
So Ian suggested that we went for Ant as (his words) a local lad and a really good prospect and would be an excellant choice for us and would be an ideal opportunity for us to us this to try and get more members.
I would sooner LISA use money to sign the likes of Ant then some overpaid hasbeen.
It shows that our youth structure at the club is working and we are producing talented players, this is the way forward IMHO.
Now I wasnt quoting anyone at all, when I replied, just saying that we cant expect to sign Darren Lockyear on £6100 this wasn't a dig at anyone.
As for the rest of the LISA money, we arent sure yet who we are sponsering but I really cant be d with all the hassle anymore.

Linda its just 1 persons opinion and quite frankly don't know what the problem is ,maybe if the money raised had gone towards stuarts signing instead he would have felt better but then the sponsor for young Ant would have had to come from elsewhere so like i said don't understand his problem its a win win situation but hey thats just my opinion
