| Season long loan at Widnes Vikings announced with no call back option. Wonder if they are making room for a new signing…hopefully a powerful forward.

| The no call back option seems very odd seeing as we are hardly overrun with prop forwards.

| I doubt that he'd free up much cap space. Internal disciplinary decision or face not fitting? (speculation, no inside knowledge)

| Hope his time with us is not yet over, and all the best to him at Widnes for 2022.

| Enjoyed seeing Eribe score against Leigh last year. He is quite light for a prop though. Maybe Powell has a plan.
Despite not playing at his best last week, what is the general view of a certain L.Watts? Bad boy history, but has worked with Powell and is a big unit who was still doing the biz with Cas last year. I know he fell out with Radford at Hull so maybe it’s not beyond the realms of possibility to snag him for a year?

I don't think we had much chance of luring him to our side of the pennines, but with Powell as coach it opens up the possibility.

| Watts has been completely off the boil for a couple of seasons. His peak seems to have been and gone. Letting Hill leave and bringing in Watts seems like a sideways step from an outsider. Then again.... you took Bullock.

| Bullock has looked alright so far, I agree with you about Watts. We need a proper unit, Watts is a good superleague prop but I'm actually jealous that Hull have satae. I hope our recruitment team were in for him but I bet they weren't!

| Erib played a blinder tonight for Widnes against Dewsbury. Got through a lot of work and put in some good hits. Hope he keeps it up.

I think he's turned into the bad version of Chris Hill. Great go-forward at times but makes plenty of errors and gives away too many penalties.

Silly boy for what? Is there a reason he’s been offloaded without the recall option? Spill the beans.

| I seem to remember he was involved in a betting incident and got a ban from the RFL, but that was quite a long time ago now. Anyway, I would imagine that from a development point of view Doro is far better with a full year commitment to Widnes rather than going through short term recalls and kicking his heels if he can not get a game in the first team. He could play for the reserves but I think he will face sterner tests in the Championship and will doubtless have to get accustomed to the occasional roughing up to boot. Of course the other possibility is that Powell doesn't see him fitting into the squad next year.

He was man of the match for Widnes last night apparently.

Had a great game by all accounts.
Powell seems to build his squads on attitude and character though, so maybe there's something which is lacking in Doro, or some character traits which he doesn't have [iyet[/i. Props come into their own later in their careers anyway, so another year away at championship level won't stunt his progress.
I'd love to know what the 'Silly Boy' stuff is all about though? Just because I'm nosy.

I watched him in last night`s game and he was very good for the Smellies.
He hasn`t grown much since I 1st saw him as an Academy year 1 player but has worked hard to put a lot on a lot of muscle since then.
Not aware of any recent misdemeanour by Eribe, he was disciplined for going AWOL for Wembley 2019 when he should have attended with the other Academy players but he chose to attend a pop festival instead.
Last season he was suspended by the RL for betting on a games` result while on loan to Widnes, but it was NOT a Widnes game he gambled on.
However these incidents were before Powell`s regime at Wire.
