The next Briers
His dad wreaked havoc for years. Now, Reece Briers, the son of legendary Warrington halfback Lee, is making his move into the professional ranks.
He has signed for League 1 club North Wales Crusaders as he begins his career in the third tier.
“With my dad playing for Wales, I know the fans are very passionate so I’m really looking forward to playing in front of them," he said.
“I just can’t wait and I’m buzzing to meet all the boys in pre-season.
“Working hard is all I do really and I’ll make sure I do that for my teammates, the coaching staff and the club.”
He played for Warrington Academy last year, so I am unsure as to whether this is a loan deal, or whether Wire have released him?'"
Just read in the Warrington Guardian, that it is a permanent move.
All the best Reece for your future career.
