The corporate catering departments around the Super League clubs will be breathing a collective sigh of relief. Shares in chicken satays, miniature samosas and individual size pork pies have tumbled.
In 2014 Stuart sold £21.7m worth of Card Factory shares, a third of his stake.
If what I've found is correct he still has 18,035,477 of Card Factory shares currently worth £49,453,278. He'll also have other business investments of course.
It's not just the money he brings though, it's his great business knowledge and leadership. Fantastic to have local lads who have done well who are willing to back the club.
