that was the plan, turned out after getting him for a replacement for harris he'd never played 6 in his life and was a centre through and through.

Arguably, you could pick a raft of players that played alongside briers in both 97 and 02, cos there was a lot it kept changing and people kept getting injured.

I would say Sid Domic but he was switched from stand off to centre and then Loose Forward quite quickly.
