I know we only saw him briefly but I'm very encouraged with what I saw and can see why he was highly regarded for his defence in the NRL. Any 1 one 1s he seemed to get the attacker down straight away-there was one tackle where he dealt with Carney very easily. I'm really looking forward to seeing him grow with this side.

He did seem very effective in defence,but i'm surprised he didn't stay on the field longer. Hope he isn't the new Roy or worse still,injured again.

Yes, hopefully he hasn't been rushed back due to lack of fit bodies or it could set him back.

I have to admit to being slightly alarmed by all that strapping around his knee. Let's hope it isn't a target for opposing props.

Just a precaution all that strapping, he does look like a tackling machine doesn't he.

The strapping is for injury prevention but his knee issues are well documented.

I do think he is an interim solution before we bring in another (not named yet) prop.

Like I would suggest such a thing....

I heard he was offered more than a one year contract but took one year. Since he's been part of
the squad he's hinted (in the Guardian) that he might be open to staying longer. He certainly seemed
more revved up and more part of the team spirit than Asotasi ever was. Fingers crossed he could be a
good un if he stays fit.

I certainly liked the look of him, very physical and aggressive in defence. Hopefully stays injury free.

He looked aggressive and 'well up for it'...not 100% match fit though...give him a couple more games and he'll be firing on all cylinders....I like the look of him...just hope he can stay fit.

I'm not even bothered if he isn't much cop in attack, if he defends like his life depends on it we have strike elsewhere.

I don't mind if he wears pink slippers he showed more effort in a short time as Roy did in one season. If he stays fit he will be a quality player to have in the squad, he looks hard as nails in them tackles

He always wears the strapping on his leg so no need to worry

wore it the whole of last season in Brisbane. His tackling does look pretty good stopped everyone dead with his tackling. I wasn't happy with his signing when I first heard but i'm happy with what I saw last year, and he looked pretty good for his first game for us so wish him luck this year

Good enough start from him, hopefully he will show us a bit more when he picks up more match fitness. The pack is so much stronger than last year from the look of things at the start. We still have a lot of room for improvement though.
