| Who would you start as FB next season, Ratch, Matty or Kurt Gidley? For my money it's a pick between Matty and Kurt, and having watched a couple of Knights games in the past few weeks and seeing the way Gidley performs at FB, I'm slightly favouring him.

| Gidley or Matty. I'm not a fan of Ratchford at FB.
If I had them available for selection now, I'd go Sandow 7, Gidley 6, Matty 1 and Rachford 13.

I'm still not sure in terms of who I'd want at full back between Gidley & Ratch.
I'd like to keep Russell in the team as a winger though and have him dropping back on the last, as his kick returns are fantastic. Also his scoots from dummy half are better than Evans, Ormsby or Penny. He may end up lacking in positional play, but I'd like to give him an extended run there.

| Ratch, or if you want to play russell there, you change the way the team plays.
And then get rid of ratch. no coincidence he's had his quietest games, when he's been away from FB,

| It might not be the most popular decision but i would let ratch move on... I dont think his meandering game suits our style of play.
I much prefer Russell at FB.. Yes, he isnt the finished article and yes he makes mistakes... But his strong running and his quick PTB's get us on the front foot and give us impetus.
We have looked much better since Ratchford has been moved away from FB... and i dont see him in the halves.

| But hasn't TS more or less had to play Ratch at full back to cover Russell's absence? I would like to see Ratch given a chance to make the loose forward position his own. He has the mobility, enterprise & ability to make his own space to do well at loose. Furthermore ,it is a position where ,if the going gets tough, he could be taken off & a third prop sent on without disrupting the balance of the team.

| Don't buy that we had to play Ratchford at full back. Could've easily had Penny there.

| I like Russell and Ratchford ... both good attacking players. I would have loved to have seen Ratchford at loose forward and Russell at full back all season. This obviously couldn't be done due to injury. Penny though had a good start playing at full back and this would have helped us. I'm not keen on picking a prop at loose forward i.e. Harrison. Having a prop at loose forward is a strangely negative move. We have lacked flair not grunt and groan.

| Ratchford should be at 6, no question about that. He's the white Leon Pryce.

| Ratch has a presence in the halves like Pryce, but that is about as far as the comparison goes. Ratch is much cleverer with ball in hand and more illusive.
Ratch is more of a skinner John Pendlebury crossed with Shaun Edwards for me. So ideally suited at 6 and 13, but I'd like him to put in another 1/2 a stone of muscle.
My template for the perfect FB is a Brian Johnson or Steve Hesford. Ratchford doesn't fit that mould. Other than being tall, that's as far as that comparison goes too.

| Ratchford has no position. Just tell him he's a "scrum-off" and let him do some damage from wherever he pops up!

| Russell has put the cat amongst the proverbial pigeons with his performances in the last two games.
I think he has been excellent.

Bridge, Atkins, Wheeler and England to go for me! Still need 2 big additions for me. Someone with some presence. If we can get 2 more in I'm confident we'll go all the way next year! Get rid of agar. I'd like Smith, Briers and Hodgson.

| Currie will be the Loose Forward in the future, quick skillful and big.
Ship out Bridge and put Stefan in the centres or sell him to Wigan.

| I heard Bridge to Cas?
All the games I have watched R Evans I've not seen the spark that others have and as such I have been holding back asking these questions but I think the time is right:
Why would TS pick R Evans above Monaghan, Penny, Ormsby or Russell?
I don't see that he is quicker than others?
Does he time his runs/lines better than others?
Does he do more work inside than others?
He gets injured more than others?
Is it his defence?
