we were rumoured to have offered him a one year deal but he wanted two which is why we cooled on the deal. (at 35 years of age the right thing to do).
So I'm a bit surprised hes still only signed a one year deal with Leigh although there is an option for a second. I guess they had more money available as well as we must be close to the cap.
