| Couldn't give two stiff one's about Harris.
However, I DO feel sorry for Nobby.
A man who bleeds RL, will promote it, rarely talks it down.
Yes, Salford have been poor for a few weeks, but, do any of us honestly think these "high profile" signings were Nobby's.
I, as a spectator, knew that Morley was as good as finished (let's take the P&B tinted glasses off), at least 18 months ago.
Francis Meli....do me a favour. He looked poor in an average Saints side, over the last year or so.
Gareth Hock. A man that would cause trouble in a phone box. Undoubted talent, but a lady's front bottom.
Gleeson. Say no more.
These aren't the signings of a bloke that's steeped in the game (Nobby). They're the signings of a bloke who's met a p155ed Salford fan in a pub, and said to him " name some players who'll be a bit box office, and a few more who are ok, but will make up the numbers).
I hope Nobby will politely decline Koukash's Director of Rugby post, and wait for a decent job to come up. He deserves better. Certainly better thaan the "good" Doctor.
Stick to horses, please.

| I think nobby is tired. I don't think he wants the job anymore.
He must be sick to death of the Docs interference and public outbursts. He gave up media work to which he was suited and I think he'll move back into it.

| Yeah, Noble is a decent bloke and I hope he concentrates on media work and reflects on the fact he's just found the exit door from the asylum.
As for Mr Harris, it couldn't have happened to a nicer fella. You're about to discover how every Wires fan felt all those years ago.

| I am surprised and disappointed by the news. Salford has made a solid, if not spectacular, start to the season which someone of Noble's undoubted ability could build on. I don't think Harris can do any better and he must be mad to take the job.

| I think he will do ok.
The 1st team squad at Salford is quality but shallow.
2/3 injuries and there very average.
That was nobbys nuts...he had chase and hock out among others.
Bobby gets sacked as he finally gets all the team fit and pull off a sensational win.
To some too little too late, for me unfortunate circumstances.

It'll have more name changes than Prince did, in the 90's

| I hope, for Iestyn's sake, that the wheels fall off. A lot of players signed to play for Brian, and I can see unrest coming for them. The problem for Salford this year is that they don't have time for transition. The owner wants instant success from a new group of players, and it isn't going to happen. Instinct and skill will get you so far, but you need organisation and cohesion, especially to keep the score board down.
Iestyn deserves all he gets, let's hope he ends up at the glue factory with the rest of Koukash's scrap.

| I don't get the bad mouthing of Harris on here and I was already a fan when when he burst onto the scene as a starlet in the Primrose and Blue. He is a very promising up and coming British coach and I think he will be his own man and do a decent job at Salford before moving on to a top club. The Doc needs to be careful as any 'its my club and I can do what I want club'will ultimately see the project fall apart.
Not sure where Nobby goes from here as a Super League coach. He might now have to drop down a division if he wishes to continue in a coaching role
I am interested to see what happens at Wigan now that Harris has gone. Without any evidence to support my view I think Harris contributed quite a lot to the Wigan scene which will be a loss to them.

I wish we had of signed him as assistant to Smith with a view to taking over.
They both have a very calm attitude and both technical.

And??...... Warrington was merely a convenient route into Super League for him - We were p!sspoor at the time and so its acceptable he would want to forget his short time with us.
Its like Saints' fans complaining that Lee Briers doesn't exactly wax lyrical about his time with them??
