| I am pretty sure the Salford game is a Wednesday night match at the HJ a week before our first league match.

I suspect they will - a full run out before the Saints match the following week. And I hope we get a full house for that match.

| We couldn't even sell out Wigan at home last season when it was a weekend. Both Saints and Wigan are on a Thursday, we've got no chance.

With it being the 1st game of the season it should hopefully boost the crowd. However we should be selling out on every Wigan/St's/Leeds game.

| Should be. The south is always sold out, because shock horror that's the cheapest place to go. ticket prices need to come down.

Sounds like prices in the south stand need to go up if it's always sold out?

| A seat in the East Stand is £23.50, to watch top class Rugby League that is great value. I know money is tight for all of us these past few years but £23 is a steal. A pre purchased ticket in the South is £19.50.

St Helens at home first game of the season is "little more than a training session"?

| Depends on your perspective and how much you love watching professional rugby I suppose.
My average expenditure for a game is 3 figures and I still see that as value and still enjoy it.
I even pay £15 to watch Broncos, they should really be paying me to watch that.

| Given the prices of football and club rugby union I would have thought that 'the greatest game' could price itself higher as it is better entertainment.
Also the pre season games are usually a good opportunity to see our young home grown talent which is what the fans really want to see - would you rather just watch a bunch of mercenary pension hunting Aussies or some Warrington home grown lads that actually have pride in the shirt?
If you sell that cheap what message does it send to the young lads?

They are only travelling from down the road, they have a Warrington post code and telephone number! We should be able to play these games at midnight on Christmas Day and still sell out.

| For most games over the last few season the south stand has sold out or been very close to selling out. Not hitting capacity is usually due to a lack of following support rather than Warrington fans "not turning up in number".
Even when there are very low crowd figures (say 9000ish) its usually big gaps in the seats and the away end.

| Brian Brady ! Have you relented yet & bought a season ticket ? Come in the South Stand with me then you don't need to keep jumping up & down when people are going to the bar, then the bog 20 minutes later . I thought i was sat in the middle of a Mexican wave at Widnes last Sunday !

| Exactly my point the south stand. Always full or close to it yet the north and east are near enoughempty? Why is this? Is it becase people prefer standing and the atmosphere that goes with it? Or is it because they chose the cheapest possible option?
This is a genuine question on what people think by the way.

Surely you are a concession now ? That's only £13.50 for the South Stand.

| When you're in the south you look around the east is maybe half full but everyone is sctttered, the north may have about 100-200 in it and the north east corner is empty. I'm just thinking of ways the club could attract people to the seated areas. The only thing I can think of is free ticketsto schools and such or lower the price.

| I think Wire are missing a trick with pulling in more home supporters. I read an authoritative report yesterday (Daily Mail) that 750,000 Romanians came over from Calais last week, and 2.3 million Bulgarians flew over from Sofia to Heathrow yesterday. Now, I am not stupid, I do realise that initially they will be very busy begging in Stockton Heath, nicking lecy cables from the track, and having NHS replacement hip operations. But surely they represent a fantastic opportunity for us to recruit new supporters ?

I heard they live off of mice and the tears of the tax payer.
