| I`ve read a few posts this and last season regarding concern over the `old guard` that Warrington have still playing , but after listening to the game yesterday I am a true believer as in all job professions that you can`t beat experience and although we still had some out there yesterday you can`t afford to lose both Monas , Briersy and Moz who we clearly missed , all who have vast experience and are experts in those vital positions of rugby.
It was a real shame that we AGAIN had chance to top the league but again fall short....Is this the indication for the rest of season ? I hope not.

I didn't' attend, and neither did I hear the commentary. It would be interesting to hear a critical analysis of the game to understand what, if anything went wrong. Monas and House have some of the highest tackle rates in the Wire team, so perhaps we missed this. Or as you say, perhaps we missed experience at critical moments in the game. You could also point the finger at the fact we have had three tough games in a row against Wigan, Cats and Hull. Was fatigue an issue. Or did Currie, Laithwaite, Evans or Williams under-perform. I will wait for the highlights in the SL Show.

| Just watched the tries on Super League full time. They attacked Rhys Williams who to be fair looked lost at sea. Hope Joel is back for Friday.

| I don't think it will be all too often that circumstances will arise in this way. Playing against a wounded animal that have scored more points than any other SL side this season, not to mention we've been doing defensive training every day last week so I guess they were under strict orders not to stuff up!
Then you have to include your injuries to major players that create most of your tries. I think Ratchford is sensational and at the game just before his try I'd said how he was almost playing Rovers on his own at times. But without the structure Michael and Lee, Stefan can't do it all himself.
The fact these stars are all out at the same time is unfortunate but it's unlikely to happen often and most will return. It is an unhappy hunting ground for you over at Craven Park and as someone said on another thread, at the end of the season you're not likely to be remembering this game (unless of course it is your only defeat of the season...you hope!!).
See you at your place, our unhappy hunting ground!!!

| To a point I agree, yet I think we competed well for large parts. The problems came from a lot of reshuffling when Higham went off. We lost a lot a structure with Myler moving to 9.
The killers for us were our experienced players, Hodgson's last tackle plays were poor at best and Westwood forced the offload too many times to the floor. Coopers lazy pass at the line which was intercepted by Lovegrove was the final straw, lost field position and a great opportunity to score to put the game away. Hit the ball up, and keep the pressure on and I could have been a different story.
Oh we'll, back on the horse Friday, Monas back in makes the world of difference

| I disagree, I'd love to see Warrington sign a young Adrian Morley full of youthful aggression, enthusiasm and will to win.
The game needs a bit of grunt and biff, its all gone a bit boring on that front.

| How come Dwyer wasn't included as hooker cover if Monas was injured or was he tied up with DR red tape ?

I take it you've not seem much RL yet this season? If you have you must have missed the many incidents we've already had across SL involving yellow cards, red cards, multiple match bans and several players knocked out and/or lucky to escape serious injury. Not to mention the Wire v Catalans game all on its own!

| Has Adrian Morley even done much biff since he joined us?
When he signed with us from Sydney Roosters I was expecting a nutcase who would spend more time in front of the disciplinary panel than on the field.
I can't remember him being banned much since he's joined us...how boring.
