Have to say i though he was superb. The players know who is in charge with Ganson and they respect him. Plenty of referees could have lost control today. The kissing remark was worth the sky money alone

Best rugby league referee by a country mile. Still laugh whenever I think of Leeds in the play offs last year. Leeds player (forgotten who) " me!" Gans "speak to me like that again and I will!"

11 Wigan players were offside at an early potb; Gansen gives a scrum to Wigan for something (can't remember if it was a knock on or the ball kicked out) and says "Sean, I'll let you off with that one!" to O'Louchlin and winked at Briers. Lee was looking around as if to say 'what the funk?!'

Then missed a forward pass for Joel's try and saw him say something to Lee.

Other than that he was excellent.

I don't particularly like Ganson, he often seeks to make the game about him. But last night he was about as good as you can be in a game of that size and with so much niggle on either side.

Had a good game. He's not afraid to give it to the players who gob off. Good game.

Also seemed to miss quite a lot of that dirt merchant McIlorum's misdemeanour's.

just watching the game back, i'm not liking how stomkins seems intent on sticking his nose in other players incidents, paul wood just got penalised in posession on the wigan line for 'hitting out' on liam farrell, stomkins started having a pop at him on the floor then as woody was getting up and into defence he was barking like at him.

He had a right attitude problem yesterday, toys well and truly out of the pram. Hilarious when he had a sly push at Hill then ran away!
