The next stage in the expansion project is the addition of an extra tier to the north stand. Will only happen once the previous expansion is paid for, so spread the word, get your mates down to the games, and we’ll have the best stadium in SL.

I think that is too much now. The north stand has been pretty sply populated on a few occasions this season. Would be better to fill in the NW corner and give it to away fans who wish to be seated. That would take us over 16000. Plenty big enough.

Think therer is room for a bit m ore corperate stuff though.

I know a guy who works for the company who did the last expansion. The plans are already in place to do the corner between the main stand and the away stand. Would add another 600 seats apparently.

Any idea what the second tier would bring the capacity to? Think we'd need to fill the current seating before we need to add any more. Mind you if we could convert the East to standing we could be on to something.

I like the sound of the east being standing but can't see it happening

The plans for the extra tier in the North were drawn up before the corners were proposed, I know because I've seen them. The idea is to increase the corporate capacity of the stadium which substantially increases revenue

That would be the sensible option, Warrington has lots of business opportunities.

Leave the East stand alone. I am getting too old to stand!

Additional tier for on North
Additional corporate boxes at top of south
TV studio etc moved to a purpose built TV complex in the SW corner with built in permanent screen.

Additional tier on top of West for seated away support
East stand demolished and replaced with a permanent stage so that SM can hold take that concerts at the HJ whenever he wants
Loungers placed on the roof for anybody who fancies getting a "tan" from the floodlights.

Which "horse's mouth" 1905 as (virtually) all of the above (well, maybe just SOME) have supposed to have come from somebody within the club management structure at one point or another.

Southwest corner should be next as the southstand sells out more than any other !

The next expansion will be for corporate purposes, which, when it happens, will see the North Stand expanded to create more facilities for the 'prawn sandwich' brigade.....Any attendance increase will be minimal, due to the fact it isn't really needed as yet.
