Id consider giving Gareth O'Brien a rest after tough defensive stint he did last week and play Ratch at 6 alongside Briers

Fantastic news, thought it was still quite a way off. I agree with scottty. O'Brien is young and has had an awful lot of game time lately, last week being especially tough. I think he should have a rest but only if Ratch is 100%.

Solomona was also due back around the end of May (wasn't he?) so surely he can't be too far away now. Maybe either/both will get a run in the U20's before first-team.

Any news on Myler, M.Monas, Moz or Evans?

I've missed Gary's video interviews for news like this plus the video section on the official site has been quiet for around ten days now which is rare.

Solomona is 2 weeks away,monas,moz very soon but myler not heard anything. Agree about O'Brien he has been outstanding lately and deserves a rest,but he would probably rather play than sit on the bench or back to the under 20's. definitely one for the future in my eyes

Westwood, Atkins, Monaghan, Wood, Briers and Higham would be fine by us at Wakefield.

wouldnt start him in the 13, would bring him off the bench, and o'brien wont get rested because without myler we need a halfback because playing ratchford straight away could back fire on us if he isnt 100%

It would be interesting to know where this has come from seeing as Ratchford himself stated in Monday's LE that he wouldn't be back until the beginning of June. Rather than speculate I'd rather wait until 2.00pm on Friday.

I'd like to see him eased back and coming off the bench

It's the Guardian, and it looks as though they may have talked to TS. My guess is that he will be playing.

He has said on twitter that he doesnt know if he is playing or not so looks like he is up for selection

Ahh. That's more like it. The original post sounded like the author was trying to make it seem like inside information. The return of Moz will make it really interesting.

Personally i'd play Ratch at centre and rest Bridge, Bridge seems to have slight lingering problems, he certainly wasn't 100% at Catalans, give him a week off to get fully right and Ratch is more than capable of doing a job at 3.

You're right. Bridge has been limping during games for a few weeks now. the return of Ratchford will be an opportunity to get him sorted out.

We will certainly have strength in depth when we get these players back, it looks as though there will only be (at worst ) Rhys Evans sidelined by the 1st week of June.

Of all the injured I would rate Monas as the most important. If we can get him back fit, and in the form of 2011 for the last quarter of our season, It would make me feel a lot more confident of winning some silverware.

Well he has been in training for 2 weeks,given all clear by doctor to resume full training,on the guardian web site plus from a good source,dont be so negative after grix and ben came back early than expected. it is possible

Ratchford and Evans would both probably have played for the u20s last weekend if the game had been played anywhere but Widnes' i(njury)-pitch.

I don't quite understand this. If they are recovered from injury and fit, surely they run the same (burn ?) risk as any of the other players.

Could play Grix in the halves, with Ratchford on the bench. If Bridge needs a rest, then play Blythe there. We've got a good enough squad not to risk players halfway through the season.
