lee briers is not a coward for throwing a punch from behind while the hudds player was held by 2 warrington players is he rose tinted specs and all that great game for us neutrals to watch though

There were a few things that went on tonight, but the major blame lies with the referee. Had he acted on incidents in the first half then some of these threads wouldn't be on here and other message boards.

However as there are now no meetings with Mr. Cummings I doubt anything will happen.

btw. As a neutral I enjoyed the game.

Glad you could work out 'fun time frankie' Rogues, I've always had trouble with Pidgin English. I've really enjoyed both games so far this weekend. The leeds game was a cracker, and then two matches have shown that both Morley and Peacock have a bit left in the tank.

Tommy Lee should have walked - not sure about the other "on report" but his was a straight red.
I thought they had you around the 50-60 minute mark but then you sort of "rope-a-doped" them - brilliant.

There's no reason why they wouldn't take him, he's an honorary squad member for them in big games.

Its time the R.L. really got tough on discipline.
Realistically we could be looking at three players out for months with serious facial injuries.

Possibly Gilmour for leading with the elbow you could argue benefit of the doubt as it was early in the game.
But Lee for cocking the arm back and smashing Briers in the face with Bentham in a very good position should have walked.
And Brown for his premeditated leading with the elbow on Bridge should have walked too..

watching the game at the galpharm then again on sky, lee should have been red carded. i think the back lash came tonight in the hull v london game when a red card was finally dusted off and produced, any other day and it wouldn't have been an issue.

on report is a cop out given to ref's with no conviction.

dont play the wire are angels card, both teams dished it out in equal measures, westwood in particular was his usual self, late shot on brown, a slap here and there, knees in at the PTB,briers lashing out with his elbow, not to mention punching an opponent from behind,waterhouse was giving plenty out too and bridge completely lost the plot.

Clearly the RFl don't agree because they have looked at 5 Hudds incidents and 1 Wire incident.

There was one bad incident in the game LEE'S RFL's view not mine, but again no different to Farrell in our 1st game at Wigan one match on report no gain Hudds gain leeds Wigans next match.
