"If key players get hit late, you're supposed to get frigging sent off. It's an absolute disgrace. The officials have got to start doing something about it or you've got to tell your players to do it.

"He's actually playing well too is Bailey, but the sh*t in his game… O'Donnell should have knocked him out cold and given him some more.

"Next time we're playing, if they start hitting Kevin high, that's what I'll be instructing Luke to do unless the officials start growing some cahoonas and do something about it. It's the third frigging week in a row.

"You've got an obligation to protect your players. If my players did it, I'd expect them to get sent off. It's a frigging disgrace."

Love this, and agree with it! If a guy of 18-20 stone is big enough to go for a cheap shot on a half back, he's big enough to get a good hiding. Now I'm not saying halves should be untouchable, but they should be protected, especially when kicking as they leave themselves vulnerable.

Just have an enforcer like they do in ice hockey, Bob Probert would have sorted him out.

The daft thing is that Bailey did get sent off. O'Donnell (who is also known for his late high shots) wouldn't have walked if he hadn't come in and tried to slot Bailey.

Glad he got that off his chest. Perhaps now he will have time to train his players not to lie-on at every set, although I doubt it.

Not the first time that Brown has spouted about "taking the law into own hands" but, with Brian Nobles public outburst v Hull last season and Hull openly criticising Childs this season, will coach soon be taking it upon themselves to vent their frustrations OPENLY in the public arena. More importantly what will the RFL do about it?

If this was football he would be up for bringing the game into disrepute. If the RFL want to have their RESPECT campaign then it has to be from the top, not just at grass roots.

with Nathan Brown and Huddersfield the saying that springs to mind starts with 'People in glass houses....' Any coach who's got a team with Mason and O'Donnell in it should not be moaning about the conduct of the opposition.

Watched the incident on Sky before the Salford game and when did Bailey hit Brown late? Seemed a normal tackle to me with Brown dropping the ball in the tackle.
