| I know he almost always central in our discussions on this board, but, I knew after we scored and Myler is directing the troops for the kick, that everything was going to be alright tonight.
He is developing massively every game and is quickly becoming one of my favorites in the Wire shirt. He is also showing people he can lead.
That is all.

| I think it's easy for people to forget that Myler's not even reached his 21st b/day yet. He has plenty of time left to develop and mature as a player.
I do expect though that once Briers does retire (after next season?) we'll probably want/need/have to sign an experienced HB to lead the team while Myler's still developing ... but that'll be TS's call.

| I think there is egg on the faces of those who said that there is no place for him in our squad last year. People forget he is only 20, we are going to see great things from him.

| Come on leaps and bounds. He is playing fantastically. Also, his defence has sharpened up hugely. The 'unsung hero' if you like for Warrington this season.

| Having a 'nose' for interceptions too is a really valuable strength.

| Myler was always going to be good imo.
The most important decision he made was not to throw his teddies out of the pram when he got dropped last year but to work hard on his game - as asked for by TS.

I am not so sure that would be the case as we have some very good half backs coming through who will be pushing especially Gareth O'Brien.
Let's remember that Briers will be here for at LEAST another 18 months which will give Myler and others time to develop even further.

You can't have two relatively inexperienced halfs. Myler will not be ready in 18 months to lead a team around the park that hopes to be challenging for honours. With him and O'Brien you would have the talent, but not the experience.
You don't win anything with kids.
I think Smith will be having a look at what's available in the summer.

Alan Hanson would agree with me.
If TS thinks we can then I'm probably wrong. But doesn't change the fact I think that O'brien and Myler would not be enough.

alan hansen was proved wrong by fergie though..
honestly i agree that it would be too early for o'brien and myler on their own. But i think well have someone in line by the time briers hangs up his wheels.

| I think losing Lee is the issue here. If we had Paul Deacon or Thomas Bosc then we would be fine with Myler. Buying in someone new will be trying to replace the irreplaceable. Lee, Mick-Mon and Mozza are irreplaceable in my eyes ATM.
I think given 18 months, Myler can be sculpted into a great half but he won't touch Lee's skill
