does anybody have a clear idea of where the main 'barmy army' will be on friday as i will be getting in the stadium at 6.30 on the dot and i just need to know where to stand cos i don't wanna be stuck behind that bloody pillar again

thats what i thought last year. i was practically the first one in and i was in the middle of the stand just to the left and had a perfect view! but then i made the horrendous error of going to the toilet 10 min before kick off and when i arrived back 5 hours later i was behind the pillar which i have been behind in 05, 06, 07, 08 and now last year

Can't have mattered if you had got back to the stand 4 hours 50 minutes after kick off, I would imagine that nobody would be there...

I assumed that all Wire fans are classed as the "Barmy Army" and not a select few individuals. If this is the case, there was quite a lot of people singing "Barmy Army" when we beat Bradford. Should they not have been doing that?

I've always enjoyed watching mainly footy fans waving there scarf's and bouncing singing 'der der der der' - Ring of fire tune. Looks good. We should do it when we score.

To answer Mass Effect's point - I assume Barmy Army relates to the group of 15 or 20 teenagers who wear silly wigs, dress as clowns and walk around with drums. Whilst I certainly wouldn't want to be associate with any of that silly bother, good on them for trying to create a bit of atmosphere.

As long as they don't repeat what happens afterwards i.e) scrapping with rockers and busting up a tea room!

I wouldn't mind a fumble with Leslie Ash though. Although as she was then, definitely not now with that cod face.
