woooah Richie Myler the only man from Widnes with A full time job!

Heres me being critical, but I don't think he is ready to organise his own team yet. For me we were clueless and disorganised at times yesterday and really needed Myler to step up a few gears compared to what he has done so far.

Exactly! I'm sure he will learn. But warrington normally rely on Briers for organisation.

Not bad, a clueless and disorganised side that win at Huddersfield. Get real. It was a good win that many on here didn't expect. I would be happy if we won every away game in the same manner. It's better than losing like we did for most of last season.

Tony Smith said that he thinks Briers is "1 or 2 weeks away" after the match...

Think he will target the Saints game for a return

Briers will be back for saints, make no mistake.

Myler has been terrific imo. It must be very difficult for a young half back to join a club and be expected (as all halves are) to prompt the side around the pitch. His distribution, backing up and awareness have been really good. His defence needs some work but he hasn't shirked anything that I've seen. No reason why he won't be our 7 for the next 10 years or more.

I was really impressed in the game against us, he didn't go and hide even though it was a really tough game.

his defence has been a big plus for me... alot of people said it was his biggest weakness... so far he has showed that he isnt afraid to stand there and take down the biggest.

great tackle on one of the huddersfield forwards really stood out for me at the weekend...it may have been gilmour.

I like Richie Myler and he's obviously going to be a good player especially now Tony Smith has got him. He reminds me of the early days of Rob Burrow, everyone knew he was going to develop into a class act but it was about 6-7 years before he really started to peak. Myler has got a lot of time on his side.

Makes you appreciate how hard it was for Briers, aged 19, to come and take charge of the team, at a time we were struggling. We got him some help when he was 22 with Langer coming over but those early years he had a lot of responsibility.

Even more impressive was Richard Horne at Hull who was 17 when he started off in their first team in 2000, once he was in the team he was never out of it. 17 is unbelievable.
