Seems a fair bit of truth in the story, problem is some of our fans still believe we are actually better than we are no team can win anything without 2 half-backs working together for as far back as I can remember we have only ever had 1 ,who at this time is at the wrong end of his career and apart from flashes from nat wood we have never looked the finished article and never shown the consistency it takes to challenge for top honors .
Some can still cling onto hope that we have something to play for this season but they imo are delusional and grasping at straws that do not exist .
We have a decent Forward line but imo still need another good 2nd row to play alongside Westwood and a top quality loose FWD is also needed along with a complete back line that needs replacing it is a big job for Tony Smith but I for one believe that he is the person to transform us into credible challengers for top honors on a regular basis and hopefully turn us into the next generation team at the top .IT WILL TAKE TIME KEEP THE FAITH !

No he isn't. He's a decent fella (look at what he's done with the Heritage Museum). His "character" on TV is just that - a character to spice up the TV coverage. People love to say he talks rubbish, and OK sometimes he does, but most of the time he's not far off and this article is pretty good. |

he's actually a really nice guy - I won't tell you details of how i met him and what he did for a friend of mine, but for me, from my first hand experience of him, he is a top bloke
