Hudds are hardly a team full of angels to be fair. Griffin is a dirty git, as is Mason.

I think his point on meetings between Coaches and the RFL being a waste of time was the most interesting. If this is the case, surely a bigger effort should be going into these meetings to correct issues within the game? Makes you wonder exactly what goes on there ....

The latest is that Bailey is up for discipline tomorrow, O'Donnell has got sending off sufficient, and Kevin Brown is up for punching. That last bit should wind up Nathan Brown just a bit more.

Fair enough if you mean Nathan; however, if Kevin Brown tried to wind his neck in it would take about 30 minutes, it's that long.

His point isn't that his side is hard done to, I've got the full transcript in front of me and he doesn't say that at any point.

What he is talking about is 6's & 7's being systematically attacked through unfair means such as high shots and late tackles. These tackles that can seriously injure your creative and expensive players, you guys aren't the same outfit without Briers, Leeds aren't the same team without McGuire and we aren't the same team without Brown. This is what was happening on Friday night and the ref wasn't managing it properly so it ended up as a 26 man brawl.

That is his point.

A couple of questions Ginger Giant:

1. Do you accept Kevin Brown was faking an injury in attempt to get Bailey heavily punished? Do you think rugby should accept "play-acting" to con refs?

2. Nathan Brown in his rant refers to three players being knocked unconscious in foul play incidents "last week" (against Warrington). Who were these three players?

3. He refers to Kevin Brown being illegally hit late three times "last week" (against Warrington). When did these incidents occur?

He's talking about HIS 6 and 7, not half backs in general. THe fact that his halfbacks are a paior of wind up merchants seems to have escaped him. It was obvious that Brown was faking injury the way he suddenly managed to recover and start swinging his fists, either that or Ryan Bailey can suddenly perform miracles with the laying on of hands.

No pooh, Sherlock. Half back/creative player/influential player gets targeted by hard/illegal tackle, shocker. It's a good job this has never happened before, eh!

To my knowledge, it's no more illeagal to clean out a half back, than it is a prop.

Brown needs to grow a pair, and quick. He's only happy when he's having a bleat.

It's up to refs to punish all illegality/blatant thuggery, rather than give people who are 5'7", extra protection.

1. No I don't think he was faking injury in an attempt to get Bailey heavily punished, that is my opinion and I think I can assume yours is that he was faking (I respect that and I'm not here to get into a p***ing contest). Brown got hit pretty hard and went down. He doesn't go down often and in general does tend to "punch above his weight" which was quite literal on Friday. ATEOTD Only one man knows with 100% certainty, the man himself.

Do I think Rugby should accept "play-acting" to con refs? Hell no, I hate seeing it in football - but you can't say hand over heart that Briers has never gone down in a bit of a swan dive and won a penalty or two in his time can you?

2. Jermaine McGilvery, Danny Kirmond & Andy Raleigh - though I don't know if Andy was knocked out as such but definitely suffered a tear to his right iris, as result of a high tackle, which kept him out of the Leeds game on Friday and was initially thought to be keeping him out for a month. This is from memory, as a spectator - however I'm sure NB has a much better handle on what went on in the game than either of us.

3. Again there were a number of dubious hits in the game, plus a lot of high tackles (of which were punished at the time). You'd have to ask NB which three he was referring to as he is the bloke who had the rant, not me

Actually he does refer to in general as goes on to say:

"If one of my big blokes did it to Kevin Sinfield or Rub Burrow, I'd expect Kylie Leuluai to go and belt him, and for the referee to send my player off".

And this is his point, the referee didn't have good control of the game and things escalated.

McGilvery wasn't knocked unconscious, can't remember the other 2 incidents. Seems Mr Brown needs amend his emmotive language

Like I've said in a previous post, I'm not going to get into a p***ing contest - but McGilvery genuinely was knocked out as a few people have been off Morley's shoulder over the years. We all saw it, Morey put a bit shot on him and he went down like a sack of spuds. FACT.

This isn't the first time Browny's gone off on one. If his player is as innocent as he suggests and just came in to protect his mate he'll playing this weekend. If not...... Bailey will get a ban but there's nothing in that. Obviously Morley's horrendous attank on McGilvery was so bad it resulted in a ban/caution? Errr no it didn't, but as we all know the RFL are bent.

I just pointed out it was legal, as if it wasn't, the RFL would have found Morley guilty (again hope that helps). It didn't even result in him being refered to appear infront of the RFL (iirc).
Anyway, after your beating of Leeds last Friday, shouldn't you be gloating on their pages, now?
