Personally i'd play Ratch at centre and rest Bridge, Bridge seems to have slight lingering problems, he certainly wasn't 100% at Catalans, give him a week off to get fully right and Ratch is more than capable of doing a job at 3.

You're right. Bridge has been limping during games for a few weeks now. the return of Ratchford will be an opportunity to get him sorted out.

We will certainly have strength in depth when we get these players back, it looks as though there will only be (at worst ) Rhys Evans sidelined by the 1st week of June.

Of all the injured I would rate Monas as the most important. If we can get him back fit, and in the form of 2011 for the last quarter of our season, It would make me feel a lot more confident of winning some silverware.

Well he has been in training for 2 weeks,given all clear by doctor to resume full training,on the guardian web site plus from a good source,dont be so negative after grix and ben came back early than expected. it is possible

Ratchford and Evans would both probably have played for the u20s last weekend if the game had been played anywhere but Widnes' i(njury)-pitch.

I don't quite understand this. If they are recovered from injury and fit, surely they run the same (burn ?) risk as any of the other players.

Could play Grix in the halves, with Ratchford on the bench. If Bridge needs a rest, then play Blythe there. We've got a good enough squad not to risk players halfway through the season.

There's a difference between being medically fit to play and match ready I suppose. The jury is still out on the Death Pitch*, no point taking any needless risks.

Not being negative. Ratchford himself quoted in LE on Monday that it would be the beginning of June before he would be available. I'll be delighted if he is fit to play.

According to the clubs site Solo could be only 2 weeks away from a return and Rhys Evans playing for the U-20's this weekend.

Nothing to do with burns - its to do with potentially season / career ending ligament injuries.

So, looks like Morley and Ratchford back for this weekend. Perhaps Monas ? He has not been mentioned to my knowledge. Then we can add back Dwyer, Blythe and Currie to the mix. Looks like a very interesting pick for Wakefield. I am sure TS will take a very strong side now that he can forget about the CC for agnew weeks.

SS News are reporting Solly is back in full training and is ahead of expectations for his return.

Apparently Monas is a week away from returning and TS has hinted that we will see
Dwyer and Currie at Wakey. My Guess is Briers and Hodgy will have another week off.

I'd rather give Chris Bridge a couple of weeks to sort out whatever has been affecting him.

Nice to have Ratchford back as well as it gives us cover at fb and 3/4. Dwyer looked sharp last week and scored a couple of solo tries so it will be good for his development if he returns. Currie is a very exciting prospect.

If as expected we have more troops back, then players like Waterhouse, Wood & Cooper who have played all the rounds could be rested. Personnally i would play Briers with O'Brien to help gel their partnership

Could we possibly see another debut from one of our young players this weekend. Ben Hellewell has been playing well at full back since returning from loan. This week or next might be a good time to give him a run out.
