I don't think it's worth risking Broughton for either. I don't think any of us are realistically looking at the Hudds game as a win for us so we need to be targeting KR on Monday. Broughton makes a massive difference to our back line when fit. I'm not saying we should just concede defeat on Friday but you've got to pick your battles!

Like Gaz said I'd rest Feka he's done nothing wrong, but we need him fresh for a more winnable game on Monday. I wouldn't rush Broughton back in either if he's not 100% I'd also save him for Monday. Saying that if the coach feels they're both able able 2 games in 4 days then play them.

I'm not a fan of resting players for the sake of resting, as I like to see combinations built and maintained, but if there's anyone who's a slight doubt with injury I'd get them rested.

This game tomorrow,against a side coached by one of the longest serving,at the same club,in Super League,(Smith at Warrington the other one) is very important as this is the first of 3 games against them.
They are fortunate as they can probably rest players against Hull FC on Monday before they play them again in the Carnegie Challenge Cup next weekend where they will possibly target the winning of silverware for their departing head coach.

They certainly have some pace,a kicking game and a number of pivots so it should be a good test.

Anyone know if there's any commentary this afternoon other than the 2/3 updates we might get from Manchester Sport?

Indeed. Seems like damage limitation from here on in. If we can keep them within 20 that will be respectable.The one major problem we seem to have is stopping teams getting on a roll......and as I speak another Hudds try ruled out for a forward pass (correctly if the Yorkie commentators are to be believed). Hull KR may well be struggling personnel wise after the derby today so we need to be ensuring we take full advantage of that on Monday.

First half was quite close, but in the second half, Salford never really looked like getting back into the game, maybe they were saving themselves for Monday's game?!
