With SL to be sponsored by Eddie Stobart is there not a conflict of interest with them being Widnes's main and stadium sponser? Throw in the love for Widnes that SKYS trained chimps always show there's bound to be a bias shown!

Didn't we have a SL sponsor that also was a team sponsor before?
Can't see a problem to be honest: with RL opening a base at MediaCity, surely we could be seen as "favoured" [size=85tho' I'm not holding my breath[/size. |

Interesting to see in League Express that Salford voted in favour of having Betfair as the sponsor instead of Stobart, and that the clubs aren't getting any revenue from the Stobart deal but would've got £750k from any deal with Betfair. Hopefully some of the 'associate' sponosors for superleague will come to fruition.
