Got to say I agree with that. I though Matty started the season off really well and was immense against Wakey away at hooker. But to play in the halves most of the season and only have 3 try assists to you name is not good enough.

Mind you looking at the stats again hes made an astonishing amount of tackles so maybe I'll take it back about the try assists.

Thats down to him playing hooker for a large portion of his time on the park though fella.

Didn't realise that he'd played that much at hooker. I remember him having a couple of games there at the start of the year then I know he's played the last 6/7 games there, but apart from that I thought he'd been playing at scrum half. IIRC we had Godwin and Sneyd rotating at 9 for the middle part of the season.

Mind you most of this season has all been rolled into one due to a lot of pre match

So did anyone go? was it a good night? Lots going on?

I went along with some of the family and we all enjoyed the evening which included several sets of video highlights, all the usual presentations, good farewells to Ray Cashmere, Mark Henry and Stefan Ratchford and speeches from John Wilkinson and Matt Parish.

It was very well attended and a very good night overall.

Last year i clearly remember the rugby league writer Mr Sadler saying on stage, that this time next year if we are not in the play offs it will be a total travesty!

This is why i never went this year! and i will not be renewing my season ticket till at least Simms has gone!

Myself and 619 Red had a good night, players signing pics etc We said our goodbyes to Stefan Ratchford , Mark Henry and Ray Cashmere . I managed catch up with some of the Sallford faithful who I missed last Sunday
