After listening to those Warrington Wolves fans on the Radio Manchester phone in this afternoon, I am now really looking forward to visiting the HJ Stadium next Sunday.
Being a Salford City Reds for almost 45 years I've been very down after our last two below-par performances, but after hearing those Wolves fans now I really think we can win at Warrington Wolves next Sunday.
And as Jack Deardon on the radio always says:

We don't yet but I'm hoping for Steve Ganson this week, at least with Mr Ganson you know what to expect.

It will be very interesting to see how the bookmakers mark up for the game on Sunday at the HJ Stadium.
With both teams playing below-par at this time I suspect the layers will be taking no chances on this tricky game.
I will be hoping for a 14 start for the Reds, but I could be expecting too much on that one.'" Calm down only messing,I watched your win against stains and was impressed but you could nt back it up the following week away at celtic, plus i think we have got a little bit more to play for than yourselves thats why i can see a wire win by say 12 or 14 points..

warringtons best chance is we do not play well against the poor teams so warrington have a good chance of winning.

| Ticket prices as follows............
West Stand (away fans)
Adults £17
Conc/Junior/Tax Dodgers £11
If my Geography is correct does that mean we're behind the sticks at the end near the big boozer? I've only been to the HJ once for last season's GF and seem to remember we were in the North Stand.
More importantly where are most Salford fans going to be boozing and will they be serving in the ground? At the NL1 GF we were in the club next to the train station with a few of the CC fans. I guess this will be full of Wire on Sun so can anyone recommend any alternatives?

I think usually it's Wetherspoons before the game and Hop Pole after for a spot of karaoke? You can get beer in the ground and they sell 2-pint glasses from what I hazily remember..

We're in the standing end - the end John W kicked that penalty towards. I think the pub you're thinking of is the Lord Rodney, which is behind the seated stand at the other end.

That's the one. Looked a bit rough last time (although coming from a man who used to drink in The Corporation & Paddock that's a bit rich!) so 'spoons it is!
And seeing as no-one's started the predictions..........
Warrington Wolves 18-22 Salford City Reds (Ratchford match-winning try in the78th minute)
MOM: Ratchford
Att: 7654
Both teams coming off 2 defeats so I'm looking at a close game with a try in it either way.... hopefully with us coming out on top.

| Thaler, for me, is the worst ref around and never should have come up from National League's...he was very poor last season at NL level when we had him and I've not seen anything since to say he's improved at all.
Not that he'll be dropping the ball on numerous occasions as we most probably will be doing on Sunday!!

No odds at bookies yet, have just taken £10 at a generous (IMO) 4/1 on us at Betfair but the odds shrunk to 1/20 on after that.

Don't remember Thaler reffing us once last season, are you sure mate?
Btw, I would agree with you, think it's a close call between Thaler & Bentham for worst SL ref.
