1500 was a good turnout. Fair play to Salford for this. As a Wigan fan I hope you get it nailed on for rugby in Manchester and fook that Sale Sharks nonsense off.

We took 1,533 to the JJB last night and in my opinion that was a fantastic turnout.

But of late we have had that many away games I can't see a repeat next week on the return trip.

So Super League fans don't turn up for a Rugby league Comp, typical of your new Sky fed fan, Sky have not got the CC therefore it doesn't exist and too many fans see it this way too, good for Us at Salford who more than tripled our away following and the bad on Wigan who had a third of their crowd missing. Plus this was our third away draw out of 3 this season in the CC. Wigan is not a football town more like a tight town who won't part with cash too see knockout rugby.

UNfortunately I am self employed and work during the football season. Therefore i will now not get paid until September. For this reason I have to pick and choose away matches (home matches already paid for via season ticket). For this reason I won't be able to come on Friday. I have two points to make. First I resent some of our fans implying I amongst others are gloryhunters for going to the cup game and not the league game (I went to the cup game becasue I enjoy the excitement of knock out rugby) and that I am not a true fan because I don't go to every away game. The sarcastic comments don't take into account the fact that money is tight for a lot of people at the moment and I like many others have a family to support. Secondly the pre occupation people have got about how many fans clubs take to their ground is pathetic. Grow up and get a life and concentrate on supporting your own team.

Plus a train load!And a special one was put on from Wigan Wallgate to take them home.

We will be there again on Friday.
